Lake Venice Golf Club

This course continues to be one of my favorite… I pretty much grew up here and was a slave labor child on the driving range and cleaning the locker room and clubhouse every day for $20.00 per week. The Venice airport made them change the layout over the years but it still is a great place to play. The only building you can see on this property is the clubhouse… no houses, no condos, no hotels, etc. In fact it sits just east of Caspersen Beach Park which is about a one or two mile long beach park.

Lake Venice has been known over the years as a gator hunter’s dream. There are some real monsters hiding in the swamps.
